    Welcome to the next step on your healing journey! The therapeutic relationship is one of great trust, respect, and collaboration. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults; guiding my clients on their journey to strengthen their self-esteem, improve their mood, grow in their relationships, and make positive life choices.

    Using mindfulness and strength-based strategies in a non-judgmental, supportive, and nurturing environment, clients can gain insight and practice self-compassion in processing anxiety, life transitions, relationship struggles, mood changes, problems with self-confidence, low self-esteem, and stress. With a renewed sense of self, clients can develop the space and energy to lead healthier, more meaningful lives.

    The therapeutic environment I create with my clients is one grounded in trust. My approach is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. The success of the therapeutic process with clients depends on the quality of the relationship that we build. My ideal client is committed to growing more self-compassion and connection to themselves and others.

    Hi!  I’m Harumi.

    I started this practice for people wanting to be seen, heard, and valued, as they are.  

    The most important part of being a therapist for me, is to demonstrate unconditional positive regard and respect for every client. I strive to embody this in every session.

    I enjoy having meaningful conversation with clients about their life experiences, transitions, childhood, relationships, fears, dreams, and goal-setting. I work with adolescents, and adults.  Person-centered therapy is at the foundation of my work.

    When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me on a meditation cushion, practicing yoga, volunteering, or listening to a podcast.
